Children’s Programs at Cedar Ridge Preserve July 25, 2007

Let your child explore the wonders of nature at Cedar Ridge Preserve! The wonders of nature come alive during this 2-hour, hands-on program. During a nature walk, children will use their senses as they explore and discover the escarpment, prairie and forest ecosystems. They will see evidence of animals, hear a variety of birds, feel an Osage Orange fruit and smell the flowers in the butterfly garden.

9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Saturday, July 28 (8-, 9-, 10-year-olds)
Saturday, August 11 (6-, 7-year-olds)

The Robert Muller Center for Living Ethics in Fairview, Texas, is seeking a dedicated teacher for whom education is an avocation. The ideal candidate is seeking new paths in child guidance and education. He/she would ardently support an educational approach in which heart intelligence is at the core and children love to learn while developing a deep respect for nature.

At an elevation of 755 feet, Cedar Ridge Preserve is a slice of the hill country just 20 minutes outside Dallas. Located at 7171 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75249, Cedar Ridge Preserve is a not-for-profit natural habitat of 633 acres featuring 10 miles of hiking trails, a native plant nursery, butterfly gardens, and picnic areas.
