Hi Folks! I’ve been gone quite a long time; I think the last time I posted regularly, I was struggly with TTC.
I gave up on the fertility treatments a couple of years ago. I accepted that I just wasn’t going to be able to have another, and I thought that eventually I would stop wanting another child. That hasn’t happened.
We have been looking into adoption, but I’ve noticed that the most promising adoption stories I’ve heard of seem to happen serendipitously, rather than through the usual channels. You know… someone you know knows someone who knows someone who is looking for a family for a child… that sort of thing. So, in that spirit, I thought I would come clean and just let people know that I’m looking for a child. So…if you know someone who knows someone who knows someone… let me know?
We would really love a girl, up to age 3, healthy and not abused.
Thanks,
Janeen
Have you contacted any of your local high schools to see if they have a teen pregnancy program or something set up to help pregnant teens? The counselors may know of teens thinking about adoption before the teen has contacted an agency. It may be a long shot, but it couldn’t hurt.
