Interested in homeschooling, preschooling, or some kind of fun activities for you and your kiddos? Check out DFW Fun Family Learning, offering support and encouragement for homeschooling families in Dallas/Fort Worth — especially for those just starting homeschooling and for those with very young children (under 6 years old).

DFW Fun Family Learning gathers regularly to swap ideas, go (book) shopping, mom’s nights, park days and nature studies. We are beginning to have parent-organized events — so if there is something specific you want to do, just make it happen.

Some of our members follow Charlotte Mason’s ideas, some use Five in a Row, or Moving Beyond the Page, and some enjoy making it up as they go along!

NOTE 1: We’re an eclectic mix of moms, and we respect one another’s differences. What we have in common is that we love our kids and love learning with them. We also consider it our responsibility to guide our children’s education. Therefore, if you consider yourself a “radical unschooler,” you probably will not enjoy the group.

NOTE 2: We are a secular (non-religious) group. Individual members have their own beliefs, customs, and practices, etc. If it’s important to you always to be around others with the same religion as you, or to try assertively to bring others to your religion, this group probably won’t fit your needs.

We have a NATURE EXCURSION and a mom’s night coming soon.
